When you go to the main Google Search Console home page at google.com/webmasters and click the sign in button, you are now taken to the new BETA version of the Google Search Console. You are no longer defaulted to the old version of the Google Search Console.

I am not sure when Google made the flip to push people by default to the new version versus the old version. You can still access the old version at google.com/webmasters/tools but the default welcome sign in page will take you directly to search.google.com/search-console.

Yes, the new Search Console is still clearly labeled BETA:

But as you may remember, Gmail was in BETA for five years before they removed the BETA label.

Forum discussion at Twitter.

Update: Google just announced they are out of beta.
