Google Search Console API Gives Access To Property Sets

In May, Google Search Console announced property sets, which lets you combine several properties into one profile and see the aggregate Search Analytics data for all the properties you have combined in one set.

Well, now it seems Google exposed property sets in the Google Search Console API.

Mike Sullivan notified me of this on Twitter and showed on his blog how the property sets are coming through in the API.

Here is his property set in the web user interface:

Pretty cool, although I am sure folks using the API may have already been combing sets themselves?

Update: I asked John Mueller of Google about if this is new and he said no, when property sets came out, they were available in the API. Here is John's response:
