A couple weeks ago we reported how messy the local question and answer feature can get on Google. In fact, we showed how some need moderation including the [white house] result.
The results were polluted with nasty comments, sarcasm and so on. Well, now they are gone. Google has removed all the Q&As for the White House local result and disabled the ability to post new ones or view old ones.
Sergey Alakov first spotted this and notified me on Twitter. Here are screen shots of the empty Q&A section for the White House listing:
