A possible bug is showing those business owners who can manage their Google business listings within the Google+ Local interface the locations their business is serving customers in.

A Google Business Help thread has a business owner who wrote:

In a Google+ Local Page, when editing business details, I noticed the address section is showing "Serving Customer in+city_names". When selecting the address field for editing, the address does appear.

Here is a screen shot:

Google's Jade Wang said this is a known issue and wrote:

We can confirm that some users using the Google+ page interface to manage social local Google+ pages may be seeing information about service areas. This is the result of a technical issue and does not affect the way the listing appears live on Google Maps. Thanks for reporting!
