Google My Business, the place businesses can go to update their business details as they are listed on Google Maps and Google Local, has been updated.

Thew new interface is more condensed and concise, allowing for not just a cleaner and more intuitive way to update your business on Google Maps but also what looks like a clean way to update your business using a smart phone.

Here is a screen shot or two of the new interface, click to enlarge:

When you click on a pencil, a modal pops up allowing you to edit that block of information:

This was spotted by Meghan Trapp and posted in the Local Search Forums. Colan from the forums added, "with the recent removal of the description from GMB, and now this, it feels like something is in the air indeed." Maybe, maybe...

For now, it just seems like a good user interface change to me.
