Google Maps Reviews MoveJane Wang from Google announced in the Google Business Help forums that you can now make a request for Google to move your businesses reviews from one listing to another.

One of the most common requests I see in the forums is about when a business moves locations, often they have to create a new listing in Google Maps and all the reviews are stuck at the old business listing.

You can use this special online form to request the reviews move. But note, it is "only available for users of the new Google Places for Business dashboard," Jade said. She did say Google will make this more widely available soon.

Jade Wang from Google documents the "following criteria" that this would apply:

  • Change of ownership
  • Change in name
  • Out of business
  • Physical location (address) move

If anyone tries this, let me know how long it takes to happen.
