There are now confirmed reports from Google in the Google AdWords Help forums that the Keyword Planner tool in Google AdWords is spitting out errors for some advertisers.
When some advertisers try to use the tool, they end up failing. The errors read, "There was a problem retrieving ideas, please try again."
Refreshing or retrying doesn't provide a short term win the the advertiser.
Kathleen from Google said "we're aware of the current issue with the Keyword Planner and are working to mitigate it."
So Google is aware of the issue and working on fixing it. Or maybe they have by the time this was posted?
