Google Location PromptEarlier this month we reported about an annoying bug where Google would constantly ask to use your location when you access Google.com on your iOS (iPhone or iPad) device.

Google spent the past 20 or so days trying to isolate the issue, figure out how to replicate it and then fix it.

Finally, last night, Google's Jacqueline N. said in the ongoing Google Web Search Help thread that the issue is now resolved.

She said:

We think we've resolved the issue - if you are still continuing to see the pop-up repeatedly, can you please let me know?

So far, I don't see any confirmations or people saying the issue is still happening for them. So I am hopeful this is now resolved.
