Google Maps Indoor

Sergey Alakov spotted and posted on Twitter that Google is now testing showing indoor maps, when available, of some locations directly in the local knowledge panel in search. He posted a screen shot of the White House showing this indoor map:

Indoor mapping is a feature available within Google Maps for some time now and Google has been trying to get more and more retailers to add their indoor maps. It is particularly useful for airports, malls, big shopping centers and more.

This is the first time I saw indoor maps being tested in the local panel and I suspect it is not the last.
