Here is a PSA for those who will be seeing Gary Illyes at SMX Advanced today or at an upcoming event. Do not hug him, do not hug Gary Illyes. It can be detrimental to your web site.
Gary joked on Twitter the other day that if you do hug him he will "manually review all your sites." He said Googlers hate hugs, so don't hug him.

I wonder if this story will end up leading to tons of hugs for Gary over the next two days at SMX Advanced. Just be careful to make sure you give him your competitors web sites and not yours.
I am not a big hugger either, in fact, I think we should do away with handshaking and all forms of contact. A simple nod is a good and healthy alternative.
