Google Search For iPhone Still Shows Emoji Characters

Over two years ago, I reported how emoji characters worked in the Google mobile search results and that I suspected that Google would disable them shortly after.

Well, they may have for some, but it still works for some emoji characters.

Here is a screen shot of the search results showing emoji characters on my iPhone:

If you have not turned on emoji support for your iOS device, you should, it comes in handy. Here is how to do that, on this help page.

The funny thing is that the webmaster is complaining that the Emoji is showing up in a Google Webmaster Help thread.
