Google: If You Care About Your Page, You Should Link To It

So we've covered Google saying you can rank without links which is why Google's Gary Illyes was asked about it again on Twitter. Gary's response was refreshing, saying that "if you care about that page at all, you should probably link it from the site."

In short, if you want the page to feel love, show Google you care about the page by linking to it. Links are a strong signal and if you have no links to a page, both internally and externally, that shows the page isn't all that important.

This is obvious to most SEOs but after all that debate around pages without links ranking, it is good to see Gary post something like this.
