Google Search Adds Calendar & Reminder Integration

Google CalendarGoogle officially announced on Google+ that you can now add calendar reminders and events to your Google Calendar by doing a search in Google on your desktop or mobile device.

Shimon Sandler actually first spotted this a week ago and posted about it on Twitter but now that Google is officially announcing it, I thought I share it with you.

Google wrote:

Did you know you can set up reminders from desktop as well as your phone? It might come in handy if you’re trying to avoid last minute errands before heading out of town! For example, just type “remind me to buy sunscreen when I get to Santa Cruz” in Google Chrome to get a reminder once you arrive.

To try it out, make sure you’re opted-in to the latest version of the Google App and signed-in to Chrome with your Google Account goo.gl/4OwgqZ.
