Google's Chief business officer Omid Kordestani said at the Re/Code Code Conference last week that the speculation about the buy now button on Google is indeed true.
He said the buy now button will be released in the "imminent" future. "There's going to be a buy button. It's going to be imminent," said Omid Kordestani last Wednesday.
Of course, this adds worry and fear to many Google advertisers and e-commerce shops because of the change. It can lead to really good things for them but with any change, especially big ones like this, it can be scary.
In addition, eBay and Amazon can't be too happy about this as well.
Omid Kordestani did not explain what or how the Buy button will work, but he did confirm it is in the works.
