Google AdWords Tests Percentages Instead Of Stars For Reviews

Peter Lavelle from Pure FX informed Search Engine Land that Google AdWords is testing showing percentages instead of X out of five stars for the AdWords reviews extension.

So in this example, when he searched for [foreign exchange] in Google UK, he saw a 94% positive rating for purefx.co.uk instead of it showing 4.5 stars or something like that. Here is a photo he shared showing this new reviews extension format:

This is what you and I see, or the normal person sees:

I personally do not think the stars will go away, they jazz up the user interface way more than a string of text and Google is into having richer search results these days.

But what do you think? Do you like the percentage version or the stars version? One does seem a bit more accurate and exact.
