Google AdSense Shows Earnings By Device/Platform Type

The Google AdSense Blog announced Google is now displaying a new report named the Platforms report.

You can access the new report within the new AdSense interface and by clicking on Performance Reports on the top. Then on the left menu, there will be a new option for "Platforms."

Then the report should load and tell you how much money you make with AdSense on each platform. It is broken down by:

  • Desktop - all traffic coming from desktop users
  • High-end mobile devices - includes smartphone devices
  • Other mobile devices - includes low end and mid-range phones

As mobile usage grows publishers must learn how to best monetize that traffic. These reports help publishers segment out those users and better learn how well they are monetizing for those platforms.
