DuckDuckGoDuckDuckGo, the privacy search engine, that was also recently added as a search option on iOS 8, has been blocked by China.

Gabriel Weinberg, the founder of DuckDuckGo, confirmed it on Twitter yesterday when Steven Millward asked him.

Using the blockedinchina.net web site, it seems like DuckDuckGo is blocked in all regions of China including Beijing, Shenzen, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang Province and Yunnan Province.

Gabriel has no idea why the site is now blocked in China.
