iPhone Gets Google Goggles

Google Goggles launched at the end of last year on Android phones. Yesterday, the Google Mobile app added the Google Goggles feature. I downloaded it last night and played around with it.

Note: Glare kills it, so try to not take pictures of objects with a glare on it.

Here is my demo:

Hit the camera icon at the top:

Google Goggles iPhone

Snap a picture of the object:

Google Goggles iPhone

Google then scans it:

Google Goggles iPhone

When a match is found, it returns an answer:

Google Goggles iPhone

Clicking on the words "diet coke" returns a search result:

Google Goggles iPhone

Now, I wonder if I will ever use this in a real life case.
