A DigitalPoint Forums AdWords advertiser asked if any Google AdWords customer have ever received a refund specifically from a Google AdSense publisher being banned.

The member writes;

We have all seen the threads of people that say they were banned form Adsense. The email usually includes something like your earnings have been refunded to the advertisers. Has anyone ever gotten a refund?

One other member replied that he "always receive the refunds." But I am not sure if Google specifies that the refunds come a banned AdSense account or just "invalid clicks." Actually, I would be surprised if the advertiser new this information.
