Google announced yesterday on Google+ that UK residents can now purchase Google Glass for 1,000£ (british pounds), which comes out to be about $1,700 US dollars. That means, Google Glass in the UK costs $200 more than it would in the US.
Google wrote:
Beginning today, we’re extending our open beta Explorer program to the UK. The world sees the UK as a center (actually, a centre) of innovation. It has produced some of the greatest technology inventors and inventions of the last century, and people on the ground are always excited to explore new products and ideas.

Google jumps aboard the "Rip-Off-Briton" bandwagon. Nice one google. Not satisfied with screwing the UK taxman with it´s tax avoidance, google now decides to rip off the public too. I can just see people getting their faces punched in on a Saturday night out in Newcastle wearing their google spy cam. I don´t think google understands the culture in the UK too well.

If the Glass can see it, the person wearing it can as well, so thats a bollocks argument, not that I would have expected more from you. The idiots are the ones attacking people for having a camera. If someone is up to something dodgy they are going to use a camera you can't see, not one that is blatant to anyone with half a brain.

I have no issues with and will not come to the rescue of any nerdy white male being given a work over while wearing glass hole. I may even lend a hand. But because this hasn't happened, it just a bucketlist item

This has nothing to do with actions that may or may not affect your well-being, thats another attempt by you to deflect from the fact that you are supporting not only discrimination, but violence in support of discrimination.
