Possible Microsoft Live Search March Update?
A WebmasterWorld thread reports a possible Microsoft Search, Live.com Search, update.
Is anyone else seeing this? It seems like a BIG update, and lots of old problems fixed. Our website is finally showing #1 (after being pushed down by spam on page 2 for about 6 months).
Some agree, and some don't.
I'm seeing a few changes ( for the better ), but nothing earth-shattering.
i was wondering when someone else would notice. i'm seeing signficant changes as well, looks like an algo shift to me...for the better...and for the record...some of mine went up while others went down...and for good reasons :)
I have seen some other chatter at other search forums indirectly mentioning Live Search updates.

Microsoft actually broke the Live Search several weeks ago. We're still waiting for them to scrape the pieces off the floor and put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
Our rankings are fine. It's just that Microsoft seems to have dumped a huge section of its database and the information that used to be there isn't there in large part any more.
The search results pages are also schizophrenic. It's like watching Google cycle through data centers on speed.
