Google Suspending More AdWords Accounts?

Google AdWords SlapIn late 2009, Google decided to tighten up their rules on who they allow to use Google AdWords and increased the rate of suspending AdWords accounts. In reality, those suspensions began earlier in September and November 2009 after announcing the crack down on advertisers.

Since early 2010, we really didn't hear complaints of mass banning. Of course, I've seen individual complaints here and there.

A WebmasterWorld thread has a six-plus year old AdWords veteran claiming three of his client accounts were banned this week alone. He asked if there is a new increase of account suspensions within AdWords, like we have seen in 2009?

I am not sure. I see some complaints in the Google AdWords Help forums, but not at the levels of mass suspensions, unless it is really new and most advertisers did not notice yet?

Are you seeing mass AdWords suspensions?

we just had 13 Place accounts go under review. they have been active for at least a year. nothing in the accounts even comes close to violating any t&c's... i'm assuming after they go under review, they will show up suspended. not a fun Tuesday morning

I am certainly seeing this over the past week, more suspensions than the past 2 years combined!

If Google is doing a mass-ban, it won't be surprising. Google has been in overhaul mode as far as restrictions and penalties are concerned in early 2011.

Seems that Google has Tighten their Policies and suspending account of users without telling them reasons, Clickbank is also suitable option for advertisers..

I've had this happen to me twice (oops, can I say that...). Really frustrating when you're following the rules and doing as per mighty G's policies.

But without Google online businesses can not have their business for long time. So it is necessary to follow rules.

I had one account banned in Late 2010 and another just last week that had been running in adwords since Google started. Google's policy team are such freaking hypocrites that they disallow my lead gen site but allow Ask.com to advertise which is just another page filled with links for Google. Google is like many celebrities...once they get big they shit on all the people that helped them get to where they are. F GOGGLE!

Happened to me today as well. If you search for "google adwords account suspended" it finds over one million results. Millions of adwords users may be affected. Google doesn't seem to care.

I have a small embroidery biz. Totally innocuous advertising for a local embroidery shop. They banned me. Holy Crap!

Why is google acting like the police? A couple of my clients were also banned after using the adwords accounts for over 2 years with no problems. And these businesses are solid business models that have great results with members. These accounts were reinstated because there really was no valid reason for suspending, but this was such a  frustrating process that no one has time for. I think google is getting out of hand. They really need to stop acting like big brother. Another tip if your are looking for web hosting companies this process can also be quite frustrating so here are some recommendations:http://ecommercebusinessdevelopment.com/ecommerce-business-resources.php Do not use justhost.com for web hosting they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I made this mistake and paid the price.
