Yesterday at around noon eastern time, Twitter went down and went really slow for a everyone who wanted to us it. I honestly didn't really notice but did you?
Twitter posted the explanation at their blog and on Twitter. Twitter went on to explain that they "know how critical Twitter has become for you" and they apologize.
If Twitter went offline tomorrow, but your life end?

To me, Twitter is a nice traffic driver but will it make a difference in my future if Twitter went offline tomorrow? Probably not.
