I am sure you all are getting tired of this but this is the last week two days I am completely offline for religious reasons. Tonight is the holiday of שמיני עצרת and I am offline, completely offline, Thursday (שמיני עצרת) and Friday (שמחת תורה) for it.
Since I am Jewish and observant, I will be offline for the next two days. I do have stories scheduled to be posted over the next two days but those stories were pre-written and are not breaking new stories. We also have some poll stats to share with you.
Like the holiday of Rosh Hashanah, I am pretty sure Google will announce something - maybe Penguin 3.0 that we are expecting any day now. They did announce Panda 4.1 when I was offline for Rosh Hashanah.
Now if they do announce anything, I am sure you'll hear about it at Search Engine Land from either Danny Sullivan or Matt McGee. If it does happen while I am offline, I will catch up on that on Monday and give you the webmaster perspective a day or two late.
