Masrur Odinaev posted a picture on Google+ of hundreds of Google Street View cars being prepped to go out to war. Or more likely, go out and take pictures of the streets. He said there were more than 250 of them in this lot.
He added:
The 2nd gen cameras got shipped to China and europe right when 5th gen. cameras rolled in. I think only few other countries got 5th gen. upgrade
I assume Masrur Odinaev works for Google in the street views department.
