Google Wilbur Scoville Logo

Today on the Google home page is a special logo for Google Wilbur on his 151st Birthday. He is most known for inventing the Scoville scale which measures how "hot" or "spicy" a food item is. The Google logo demonstrates that by letting you cool down the spicy foods by throwing ice cream at them until they cool down using the scale.

It is pretty fun, I scored pretty well my first time trying, which is documented in this video below of me playing the Google logo game:

Wilbur Scoville was born on January 22, 1865 Bridgeport, Connecticut (not too far from me) and died in Florida on March 10, 1942 at the age of 77.

The Doodle is archived over here for those who cannot see it.
