Pegman Google MapsAs reported at Search Engine Land, Google is testing (as I cannot see it myself) adding large stars to the local knowledge graph box in the web search results. So if you search for local relevant results, and if a single listing shows up at the top right of the page, it may contain a white star. If you click the star, it will turn gold and then save the location to your Google Maps saved bookmarked locations.
