Dennis Miller shared a screen shot on Twitter of a screen in the new Google Search Console that shows the first detected error for a page was detected on April 24, 2018. Then on May 8, 2018 he submitted a fix to be validated and Google, after 90 days, almost 3 months, said the validation test has passed. Yes, it took Google 90 days to mark the validation as passed.

Google's John Mueller responded to the criticism around the delay saying on Twitter that Google tries "to be transparent even when it looks weird." He added that sometimes "slow servers + "unimportant" URLs can make this take time."
