Google: The Polish SEO Agencies Harming Non Profits, Sometimes For Free

Oct 6, 2014 - 8:34 am 11 by

Google PolandLast week we reported on a tweet from a Google Poland spam fighter about Polish SEOs harming their clients too often.

Well, as promised, this morning they posted the blog post on the Google Poland blog and thanks to Google Translate, I am able to understand some of it.

The new facts we learn from this post is that not only are "many SEO agencies" in Poland harming their clients with breaking the webmaster guidelines, but they may be doing it for free. The blog post says:

(1) They are using link schemes and link exchange schemes.

(2) They are performing such services on sites belonging to the NGO or non-profit organizations.

(3) In the above cases, the sites are often optimized for free, Google said.

This is pretty wild! Free SEO for non-profits that come back to bite them?
