Gary Illyes: Google Penguin 4.0 Was One Of Our Nicest Launches

Google Pretty Penguin

Did you know how proud Google is with the Penguin 4.0, real time, launch? Very proud.

Gary Illyes from Google said on Twitter that he is very excited about the launch calling it "one of the nicest launches we did in a while."

Why is it so nice? Well, it did take them almost two years. Maybe because thus far it had a minimal impact or maybe because the communication about it's launch was consistent to many media outlets?

I am not sure. I mean, we have several recent blog posts on Penguin since the Friday launch. There is some confusion on if it fully rolled out and when it started rolling out because many don't see any changes.

I am not sure if SEOs would call this a nice launch but I know Google is proud of it and they know a lot more about the launch than we do.
