Since before October we have been covering issues uncovered by news publishers that their content is not being properly indexed and ranked in both Google News and Google web search. Well, after Google said they fixed it numerous times, there are still publishers who claim the issue is not resolved.
We saw the issue with this site, but I haven't seen the issue come back since it was resolved earlier on. So it might be a new issue or just specific issues with some specific publishers? I am not sure.
The ongoing Google News Help thread has some complaints popping up again:
Since yesterday we have delay. It takes 1-2 hours between publishing and indexing. Do you know about this google news problem? We checked all of technics and everything is ok.
Our site, investomania.co.uk is seeing delays in indexing today, with some articles not yet having been indexed in Google News. It was working fine until today, but we are now experiencing problems. Hopefully you can look into this ASAP.
Yes I can confirm we are noticing delays to indexing times, both new content and updates. I will monitor this threat to see if further comments come through before flagging it.
Yeah !!! Here also happens! http://ABC.es news content has not been indexed for an hour, articles not seen in the news carrousel. #NEWSINDEXINGDELAY Any help is welcome! :)
So something might be going on again with Google News indexing...
