Ignacio Anaya Garcias Google Nachos

Google has a new Google Doodle, special Google logo, on its home page for Ignacio Anaya García. It is a nacho Doodle for the inventor of nachos. Ignacio Anaya was born on August 15, 1895 in Ciudad Acuña, Mexico and died on 1975 in Piedras Negras, Mexico.

On his would be 124th birthday, Google decided to celebrate his life with a nachos logo.

In 1943 Ignacio Anaya García invented the nachos at Maître d' at Club Victoria near Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

Google wrote, "On this day in 1895, Mexican culinary innovator Ignacio Anaya García was born, whose proper name is not as familiar as his nickname: “Nacho,” a common abbreviation for Ignacio. As shown in today’s Doodle, illustrated by Mexico City-based guest artist Alfonso de Anda, this particular Nacho revolutionized world cuisine by melting grated Wisconsin cheese over some jalapeno slices and totopos (tortilla chips), thus inventing the dish he dubbed Nachos especiales."

Do you like nachos? I am not a huge fan...
