Google Business Shopping

The Google My Business blog announced a new update to the insights, the analytics within Google My Business. The new features include the ability to see how people viewed your lists, i.e. from Google Search or from Google Maps. Also, you can see if they searched directly for your business, i.e. by searching for your business name, address or phone or if they searched by discovery, i.e. by category, product or service.

Personally, I still see the old reports in my account, so I assume it is rolling out slowly.

Google said "not only will you see the total number of views for your listing, you’ll also see a breakdown of how many are coming from Google Search vs. Maps." Notice, Google removed Google+ data.

You can see who visited your listing after searching for it directly, and who discovered your business while looking for a broader category.
