Google seems to have added a new feature to the Google Mobile image search features to quickly filter your images, using large greenish buttons.
Here is a picture of a search on my iPhone:
When you click on "living room" it will then filter the images down to living room images of wood laminate flooring and give you additional color options:
As you click through the filters, you have the option of removing a filter by clicking on the X in the white button:
