
In February, Google announced that UCP, Universal Commerce Protocol, powered checkout is available in AI Mode. Well, now you can use UCP-powered checkout in the main search results for some retailers like Wayfair.
This was spotted by Brodie Clark who posted about it on SERP Alerts and X. I am able to replicate it, here is my screenshot:
When you click "Buy," it automatically loads up your billing and shipping details and let's you just buy it fast, right from search.

So far, it still appears that the Google Pay integration has only been enabled for free listings for Wayfair so far, with the expectation that it will expand to sites such as Etsy and Target.
