Google Business Profiles is testing a new feature to let it set your business hours for you automatically by just asking you to describe your business hours in text. Google will then use AI to interpret them and make them into a structured format to list on your local panel in Google Search and Google Maps.
Ayman Ali posted a screenshot of this on X and wrote, "This feature is really cool and it will help merchant set accurate business hours and they do not have to set opening hours of each day manually so user experience will be much better now."
Here is that screenshot:
As you can see, it says "Set your hours automatically - Describe your opening hours. Google will extract your hours and update them below."
Then Google will automatically apply those hours to your business listing.
These small time saving steps are probably appreciated by small businesses.
