Google AdSense is showing some AdSense publishers a notice that their payments are on hold until they validate and verify their physical mailing address by way of postcard. The notice at the top of the AdSense console says "your payments are currently on hold because you have not verified your address." Here is a screen shot of even my account, and I joined AdSense when it was first in beta and just launched.

When you click through, it says you need to enter a PIN that you received via postal mail into the box. If you enter the wrong pin three times, your ad serving will be suspended. Google writes:

Congratulations! Your earnings have reached the verification threshold, so we've started the process of verifying your account. This will prepare you to receive your first payment once you've earned the payment threshold.

To verify your account we automatically generate and mail a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to the payment address listed in your account. Once you receive your PIN, you'll need to enter it at the bottom of this page. In the meantime, your account remains active and you may continue to show ads and accrue earnings.

They even share a screen shot of where to find the PIN on the postcard:

Many AdSense publishers on WebmasterWorld are claiming they are seeing this new message.
