Google Ads Beta Experiment: Budget Or Bidding Targets For Search Campaigns

Google Ads has a new beta variable to test within its experiments area named "Budget or bidding targets for Search campaigns." This test different budget, target CPA or target ROAS amounts to find the optimal level of spending for your campaign, Google wrote.

This was spotted by Thomas Eccel who posted about this on LinkedIn and wrote, "is rolling out new Experiments that lets you test effects of bid changes or budget changes for Search campaigns."

Thomas wrote that these new updates include:

New Updates:

  • A/B tests for different budgets and ROAS/CPA targets across multiple Search campaigns
  • AI Max experiments that can keep brand and location controls in place
  • Performance Planner recommendations that you can apply directly to campaigns
