For the life of me, I don't get how lazy some of these spammers or link sellers are. Why would you email someone at an @google email address or someone who is a known search quality representative that you are selling links. Yes, don't email Matt Cutts to sell him links, don't publicly sell links on Twitter, don't ask Google for advice when you spam and don't email Gary Illyes from Google selling high DA (domain authority) links.

Gary posted on Twitter last night about an email he received from a link seller. He said he won't be buying those links because they currently have manual actions. Of course, he was never interested in buying or selling links but still.

Here is his tweet:

The sad part, I get these emails all the time. In the past, people sold "high PR" links, now since Google killed toolbar PageRank - they sell DA, domain authority from Moz links.

Here is one of many example emails I received recently:

It bothers me people are now selling "DA" links, I am not sure why...

Tip of the day: If you are going to sell these high DA links, don't try to sell them to a Googler.
