Bing 4th Birthday LogoAs you can see from the design of this site today, we are all decked out celebrating Microsoft's launch of Bing four years ago today.

But that is not why I am writing this story, there seems to be some chatter, again, of a Bing search update. A WebmasterWorld thread has an updated post by Joe Sinkwitz asking:

I'm seeing a lot more movement again today; I thought they solved the subdomain GEO spam mess, but it is back in full force today, resulting in a bunch of legitimate sites getting bumped.

We also saw some chatter about an update a couple of weeks ago. So maybe something is up?

SERPmetrics and SERPs.com do track changes. SERPmetrics always shows a lot of volatility with Bing but SERPs.com seems to show Bing being stable, at least as of yesterday.

Oh, happy fourth birthday Bing!
