Searchers Looking Forward To Bing's HTML5 Interface

Bing HTML5Bing is expected to launch the much touted HTML5 version of their search interface really soon.

WinRumors expects it might be sometime around the launch of Internet Explorer 9, which may be around March 24th.

We know 80% plus are looking forward to the new Bing HTML5 interface.

The Bing Preview page at bing.com/peek is now currently blank, although the other day it cited changes and screen shots.

Features coming in the HTML5 version include:

  • Animated background images for the core Bing search page.
  • Instant search results.
  • Smooth search history navigation.
  • Automatic slideshow creation for media searches.
  • "Hover window" previews of sites.
