- Will CPC Prices Increase With Yahoo & Microsoft Search Ad Deal?
Now that Yahoo and Microsoft are beginning to migrate Yahoo advertiser to adCenter, there are some concerns that the prices of a click will increase when all is set and done. A WebmasterWorld thread points to a press release where GroupM Search said advertisers should see a 78% increase in cost-per-click prices. Why? "Increase competition." My big question is, are the CPC prices on Google 78% higher than those on Yahoo or Microsoft? Do you - Is There Still a Google Sandbox?
It is just about a year since we posted our poll on the Google Sandbox existing or not. The results back then had a lot of people saying it still existed on some level. Some said it no longer existed and some said it never existed. I spotted a new WebmasterWorld thread with renewed discussion on the topic. Last week we reported the Google site performance reports weren't updating. Google said this morning they have fixed the reports. Googler, Asaph Zemach said: We had a slight delay in some of our processing pipelines. This should be corrected now and you should be seeing data up to Sept 17th. Let me know if you are still not getting fresh data. I checked several reports 8 hours after Asaph posted and yes, my reports which - Google Maps Street View Bring Back The Dead?
I found an unusual but yet interesting thread at the Google Maps Help forum. Two individuals came in to the forum asking if they can get the faces on a specific Google Maps Street View image un-blurred. Specifically, they said they had family members who recently passed away and they happen to be on Google Maps Street Views.
