Google Confirms Radio Ad Push

A Reuters article named Google positioning for move into U.S. radio has the first, I believe, confirmation from Google that they will be launching radio ads tests by years end.

Google spokesman Michael Mayzel said this week that the company will begin a public test of Google Audio Ads by the end of the year. Advertisers will be able to go online and sign up for targeted radio ads using the same AdWords system they use to buy Web search ads.

So I guess all the rumors were indeed correct.

Danny doesn't understand why "Google is doing absolutely nothing in terms of podcasts." Which is a very good point.
