Google: Domain Age Doesn't Matter For Search Rankings

Google's John Mueller responded with a resounding "no" when he was asked if domain age matters for ranking in Google's search results. John responded on Twitter to the question by simply saying "no" and adding no more detail.

Here are the tweets:

Google has said in the past that domain registration length is also not a ranking signal. But domain registration length and the age that a domain has been registered are two different things.

It seems like both are not something that matters to Google for their ranking algorithms.
