Google AdWords Finally Drops Payday Loan & High Interest Loan Ads

Back in May, Google announced they would ban payday loan and high interest loan ads from coming up in the AdWords spots. It was pushed out a bit late last month but I've been tracking it since.

As soon as yesterday, I was able to bring up high interest loan and payday loan sites in the Google AdWords spots. But this morning, it seems like Google has dropped and scrubbed out all the payday loan and high interest loan sites from the AdWords spot. I tried multiple browsers, desktop and mobile and I just see normal loan sites or informational sites on loans, or help with bad loans and so forth.

Here are screen shots:

The process was gradual, over the past week or so, I saw fewer and fewer payday loan sites coming up and as of this morning, they were all gone.

Of course, you may see some pop in here and there but it seems Google got rid of most, if not all of them.
