Did The Twitter Down Time Affect You?

Twitter LogoYesterday at around noon eastern time, Twitter went down and went really slow for a everyone who wanted to us it. I honestly didn't really notice but did you?

Twitter posted the explanation at their blog and on Twitter. Twitter went on to explain that they "know how critical Twitter has become for you" and they apologize.

If Twitter went offline tomorrow, but your life end?

Here is a quick poll, not sure if these options are all that good, but I tried:

To me, Twitter is a nice traffic driver but will it make a difference in my future if Twitter went offline tomorrow? Probably not.

It hurt. I was looking for feedback with attendees of an event we produced. The farther away from the time of the event the increase in diminished return on response. It was just a workflow issue for me because of where I budgeted time in my day yesterday.
