Hey Barry, m a frequent user to you website and read your posts, i have a question since few days though to ask you about same.. Your content is very informative yet sometimes its just very few, just couple of lines with a video or something, i understand that might be that's what the topic can cover the max, yet doesn't that seem to be thin content pages by Googlebots ? .. Or u not afraid of same ? Hope u take it positive and understand my curiosity :)

You replied yourself : " m a frequent user to you website " ... Means you're satisfied even with thin content on this website. Google sees this and considers website as an authority website, no matter how many words are in content.

The content is thin, not original (just links and comment about things going on on other sites), and this site sells links with anchor text and nofollow. All supposedly bad but the site ranks well. I like this site because it saves me trawling the other sites for info. The round up is just right for me.

I have been watching Matt's videos on and off for over 2 years now, all my SEO knowledge is self taught from reading ebooks and articles but a large majority is from his videos and often when I click on the recommended/related clips to his other videos I end up watching another video and learning something totally new. They are informative, to the point and brief and a fantastic free learning source. Theshortcutts is a great place for beginners and veterans to SEO.
