Google Mouse TV Logo

Google Germany has a special logo for the TV series there named Die Sendung mit der Maus, aka The Program with the Mouse. It first ran on TV today in 1971.

It was controversial in that children were not allowed to watch TV in Germany up until that point. German law forbid children under six years of age to watch TV.

Initially, the show was shunned by teachers and education authorities but since then it has been given 75 awards.

The creators of the show were Dieter Saldecki and Gert Kaspar M√ľntefering and Armin Maiwald.

Hey, it would be great if you guys had the option of not getting posts about that day's google doodle. Your articles are generally helpful and informative, but i really don't need to know about google doodles every fn day. Can you just make this subject a feed that people who like learning about the doodle can subscribe too?

Well, it is part of the "Search Pics Of The Day". Hard to exclude just logos from that. I don't do logos every day.
