Google's Larry Page Original Business Card

Eze Vidra posted a picture of Larry Page, the CEO of Google, business card from back in 1998. It looks so amateurish that it is believable. Yea, this was his business card from 1998, when the company was originally founded on September 4, 1998.

The picture is sourced from 9gag.com.

This post is part of our daily Search Photo of the Day column, where we find fun and interesting photos related to the search industry and share them with our readers.

I wrote a little roundup about this a couple of days ago here: goo.gl/Jn9Cy (swedish) It was actually handed to a guy named Ka-Ping Yee: I met both Carl Page and Larry Page at a party hosted by a Stanford friend of mine in 1998. Carl gave me his card for eGroups and said "we're hiring". Larry gave me his card for Google—a flimsy bit of paper obviously printed by bubble jet—and said "we're hiring". I said, "Nah, who needs another search engine?" and went to graduate school. I still have the card. I think Larry Page being the CEO of Google inc and will gain more attention on energy conservative motor vehicles, electric cars etc. We all are looking one the battery electric vehicles emerging from his initiatives.
