A WebmasterWorld thread has discussion around which tools you should consider using to make the link building process easier in 2012.
With Yahoo Site Explorer dying int 2011, what other options do we have.
Here are the tools I pulled out of the WebmasterWorld thread:
- Majestic SEO
- Open Site Explorer
- SEOmoz Tools
- ScrapeBox
- SEO Spyglass
- SEOBook Tools
- Blekko
- Raven Tools
- Ontolo
- Excel (Good Old Microsoft Excel)

Great list Barry SEO Moz Tools are great - you get a lot for the price, however I will look into to some of these also. I agree Excel is a must :) Thanks

Check SEO SpyGlass out, it is an app that you can install on your computer (OSX & Windows), even free version is amazingly good tool to research competitors back-links.

I would have to second Buzzstream and SEO Power Suite. Both excellent tools. And if you're not using Blekko, you are missing some great free data.

I would recommned going for Linkvana as i have tried them for about 6 months and they give amazing results unlike BMR where you need to hire copywriter to write 100% unique content which indirectly costs more than $300+ a month and at linkvana its membership cost just $147

SEO Book is terrible. Worst company to do business with... if they don't like your emails - they will post them, and most likely call you a FREETARD! Stay away from this company.
